Black dogs
Black dogs are primarily nocturnal apparitions. said to be associated with the devil or in European mythology with death. Some examples would be Cwn Annwn, Garmr, and the more widely known Cerberus. All of those were guardians of the "underworld." So black dogs are almost universally accepted to being a malevolent spirit. So why is it eight years and nothing has happened? Clearly I'm either crazy, seeing things, or it's something completely different.

Your sitting there watching T.V. then out of no where a black mass forms and rounds a corner. You turn your head to see it, but just as fast as it appeared it was gone.
This has been happening to me for years in this house. The black mass is always in the shape of a dog.

That is why it made me wonder when I did some research on this, it said that a black dog is usually associated with the devil. I also find it funny that ever since I was very young I loved dogs. I did have a black dog named rocky that was in a dog fight in my backyard and died. ( but that is another story for another time) So as you guys guessed this week will be about black dogs, what they mean and I'm going to touch a little on familiars and why people believe in them.

Bigfoot continued
I haven't posted anything for a week. Sorry guys there was a Illness in the family. I'm going to finish this week on Bigfoot and start a new subject on Friday like always. Today I'm going to be talking a little about Bigfoot encounters.
People from all walks of life have claimed that they have seen this beast. So can millions of people be lieing or crazy? I for one don't think so, there has to be something else behind it all. Either it's real or there is another explanation. I have a couple of theories, one of which is, they don't stay in one place. They roam and are constantly moving each night or day. But I still think that this creature actually living today is very unlikly. They would leave some kind of evidence such as dung, hair, and/or there dead. Another theory I have is that they bury there dead like us. It's all speculation until we get some hard facts and proof of this beast. Until tomorrow stay scared.

Bigfoot lost tape thoughts
I think the Southern Sasquatch and most Bigfoot sightings are just wild-men, if not a hoax. Again I think that if Bigfoot was alive its dead now. It just seems like a story you would tell your kids so they don't go into the woods.

Ardi recap
Yesterday we talked about ardi and what finding a bigfoot would mean to us as a species. It's odd that we are biped and continued evolving down that line, almost no other animal walks on two legs all the time like us. We also walk with our heel flat on the ground unlike most other mammals that walk on there toes with there heels in the air.

The theory of evolution, did we evolve from the Bigfoot? Could Bigfoot be our ancient ancestor still lurking in our woods? Some people believe so. I for one believe that if Bigfoot is real then yes he would almost have to be connected to us in some way. Which brings me to Ardi. Ardipithecus is said to be an ancestor of both us and a chimpanzee That walked upright much like us, And much like Bigfoot.

I think that an actual living bigfoot is possible but not probable. Where are the remains of the dead? How are they able to stay hidden for so long without detection or so much as a decent snapshot? Demon closing
This past week was very interesting. We dived into the world of demons which is always scary. We explored the many mysteries surrounding demons, demonic possession, and types of demons. We looked at two real life events "The exorcist" and "the exorcism of Emily Rose" along with a very strange video of a demon in the forest. I leave the demon subject knowing a lot more about demon then I once did.
Tomorrow we start our new subject, Bigfoot. So until then stay scared.

Movie "The Exorcist"
This was a good movie. Very good story. The acting done by Linda Blair was amazing. I think it's a good movie for everyone. Even if your not religious, we all question our faith in humanity, in ourselves, even in a higher being.
Movie "Jennifer's Body"
I was pleasantly surprised on how good this movie was. It stars Megan Fox as she takes on the role as a modern day Succubus.

This movie had its moments but all-in-all it wasn't that great. The story was interesting but not much else.

Thoughts on Emily Rose
Very creepy, that last post scared the shit out of me. This story is really interesting, the debate on whether is was a mental illness or a possession.
I think honestly it was a mental illness that got blown out of proportion. There were reports of her having the stigmata, although those could have been done to herself due to her mental illness. Until tomorrow stay scared.

With this real picture slide and real recordings of the priest talking to Anne's demon we find out that she is German. This clip is very creepy, I couldn't finish listening.

"The exorcism of Emily Rose" was another famous possession movie based on true events.
The girl was 17 and attending high school when she first started suffering from convulsions. Emily who's real name is Anne had her first epileptic attack in 1969, she was then diagnosed with Grand Mal epilepsy.
She began to have evil hallucinations while praying as well as hearing voices. In 1973 the courts said she was depressed and considering suicide. In 1975 her parents began to think she was possessed. They gave up on the doctors and turned to religion. Her symptoms were compared to schizophrenia and she could have responded to treatment.
Here is a quote from Anne's mother. "I know that we did the right thing because I saw the sign of Christ in her hands. She was bearing the stigmata and that was a sign from god that we should exorcise the demons. She died to save other lost souls, to atone for there sins."

The demon in the video looks real, kinda spooked me. Apparantly eating a bird, it notices the men and looks up at them.
Signs of possession
Possession, unnatural movement of objects,language the original person couldn't possibly know, Depression, huge loss or increase in weight. Mood swings,unusual outbursts of violence and cussing. These are some of the signs of possession. So is it possible to be possessed and not even know it? Is it possible to live a normal life while a demon is controlling your every move, your every thought? I personally think it is possible, I mean why not?

The minister talked about the strange events that took place in the families Maryland home beginning Jan. 18Th ; Scratching noises coming from the house walls, the bed that the boy slept in would shake violently, objects would move in the boys presence. The minister being skeptical at first arranged for the boy to sleep in his home on the night of Feb 17Th. The minister reported, In the dark the bed would shake and scratching noises seemed to vibrate off the walls. The rest of the night was no joke either, a heavy armchair that the boy sat in would tilt on its own and stay suspended as if someone or something was holding it.

The word demon originally never carried any negative connotations. When Christianity spread is when the word turned negative. In ancient Greek the word Daimön (which is what the word demon comes from) simply meant spirit or divine power.
In the Septuagint translation of the Hebrew bible was when the word first got it's evil meaning.
When Christian demonology came about a demon was considered an unclean spirit who had the ability of possession.This should be an intresting week as we dive yet agian into the unknown.
